Whats the point of even using tire sealant if youre just going to pick a subpar product thats going to leave you stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire? Its not like the options out there are even that great, but somehow people still manage to choose the wrong one.
Are you guys seriously still using Stans NoTubes or Orange Seal? Those are basically just expensive water with a few magic words on the label. And dont even get me started on the so-called eco-friendly options that are just a bunch of plant-based nonsense that cant even seal a decent-sized puncture.
What about the people who swear by tire liners? Are those even worth considering, or are they just a waste of time and money? And can someone please explain to me why some tire sealants are so much more expensive than others, yet they all seem to have the same mediocre performance?
Is it really too much to ask for a tire sealant that can actually seal a tire without making a mess or leaving residue all over the place? And whats with all the hype about latex-based vs non-latex-based sealants? Is that really a thing, or is it just marketing nonsense?
Im not looking for opinions or personal anecdotes, I want to know what the best tire sealant is, period. If youre going to respond, make sure you can back it up with actual data and testing, not just hearsay and speculation.
