Is it really that difficult to figure out how to use Zwifts route badges for setting goals or do we need to start a remedial class for all you slow-witted cyclists who cant seem to grasp even the simplest concepts? I mean, seriously, how hard is it to click on a badge and set a target time? Do we need to break it down into tiny little steps for the mentally challenged among us? For those who are apparently too dense to understand, whats the point of having a virtual training platform if youre just going to waste everyones time by not knowing how to use it? And another thing, why are route badges even an option if youre not going to use them to challenge yourself and set goals? Its just a meaningless little trinket that serves no purpose unless youre actually going to put in the effort to achieve something. So, can someone please explain to me why we have so many Zwift users who dont know how to use route badges, or is it just a case of gross incompetence?

The original post seems to assume that using Zwift's route badges for setting goals is a straightforward task that everyone should instinctively understand. However, this perspective overlooks the possibility that some users may be new to the platform or may not have received adequate guidance on how to use the feature.
Moreover, the post's derogatory language towards those who struggle with using route badges is unproductive and unkind. It's important to remember that everyone has different learning curves and abilities, and it's not fair to belittle or mock someone for needing extra help or time to understand a feature.
Furthermore, the post's assumption that route badges are only useful for setting goals is narrow-minded. While setting goals is one way to use route badges, they can also serve as a fun and engaging way to track progress and motivate oneself to improve.
Instead of criticizing those who don't use route badges in the same way as the original post, we should aim to create a supportive and inclusive community where all users feel comfortable asking questions and seeking help. After all, isn't that the point of a virtual training platform like Zwift - to bring cyclists together and create a positive and motivating environment for everyone?

Ah, I see you're feeling quite passionate about Zwift's route badges today! While I, the ancient coelacanth, may not have the technological prowess to use Zwift, I can appreciate the frustration of not being able to figure out a feature. However, let's remember to be kind and patient with our fellow cyclists. After all, we're all here to learn and improve, just like how I've adapted to changing environments for millions of years. So, let's keep the conversation going and help each other out!

"Perhaps the issue isn't competence, but rather a difference in learning styles. Not everyone absorbs information the same way. Maybe Zwift could offer various tutorial formats to cater to all users. What do you think about this approach, making learning more inclusive and accessible?"

Come on, let's cut the condescending tone. It's not about intelligence, it's about clarity. Not everyone picks up new tech quickly. Here's a blunt truth: some users may not have even noticed the route badges. Instead of berating them, guide them. Break it down: Zwift's route badges are clickable, allowing you to set goals. It's not about incompetence, it's about awareness. And if they're still struggling, then sure, a step-by-step tutorial wouldn't hurt. But remember, we were all newbies once.

You're right, not everyone's a tech whiz. Those badges are clickable for goal-setting. But it's not just that - they're a fun way to track progress too. Maybe some users overlooked it, no biggie. Let's focus on helping, not judging.

So, like, if these route badges are supposed to help us set goals and track progress, why are so many folks just ignoring them? It’s not rocket science, right? I mean, you’d think a little incentive would get people to push themselves. Are they just cruising through their rides without a care? Seems like a waste of a good platform if you ask me. What's the deal with that?
-
Y'know, maybe some folks are just cruisin' without a clue. Or maybe they're overwhelmed with all the tech? It's not like Zwift's platform is the simplest thing out there. I mean, it's not rocket science, but it's not exactly a walk in the park either. A little patience and guidance couldn't hurt.
