It is dreary as hell here today. No rain but cold as all get out. I've got the fireplace going. For lunch I had mac 'n cheese from the Kraft blue box along with Tabatchnick (sp) Barley Mushroom soup. Tonight will be a meatloaf, fresh mashed, brown gravy and an as unyet tried; Easy Bake Blackberry Cobbler recipe from foodclassics.com. My intent today is nothing but easy so I can lay around and watch TV. I'll let you know how the cobbler turns out.

Your dinner menu sounds wonderful. On Sunday, I drove north on I95 from NJ until I arrived in Waltham, MA with a stop to visit with Sheryl in CT along the way. I attended a software seminar here. I am about ready to check out of my motel room in Waltham and drive home.
I got to visit Harvard Square on Monday. Due to the weather, Tuesday and Wednesday nights were spent in my hotel room at the Home Suites Inn. Finally, I got to visit Boston last night. I shot some nice photos from the observation deck on the 50th floor of the Prudential Tower, then I took the T to Faneuil Hall and I shot some photos there after dark. Then I ambled into Durgin Park for dinner. I ordered a bowl of the chicken soup which was chock full of chucks 'o chicken (white meat) and rice with a nice hot broth that hit the spot. Dinner consisted of a delicious piece of medium done prime rib (a Durgin Park specialty). I had a baked potato and corn too and a good size piece of the corn bread that's served with ever meal there.
Dinner was fairly expensive (about $32 with tip). I only drank water with my meal and no dessert. What really gave me some sticker shock though was the price I had to pay to park at the parking garage by the Prudential Tower. I was there maybe three hours and I was charged $28 to park there. Ouch! I knew it would be expensive, but that's just a flat out rip off. Still, I had a nice time visiting Boston and I can't wait to do it again this summer when I attend the Mac World Expo, which I believe is either the week before or after the Democratic convention.

In spite of the expense it sounds like you are keeping yourself entertained while on the road. The parking at the garage sounds like armed robbery. A good prime rib sounds delicious. I have not had prime rib in a good long while. 'Tis time...
