  1. Why is it that trouble always seems to descend in a flood. I think I posted that I had been to the
docs today for my ECG & found that my heart is right back to normal so I won't have to have the
cardio inversion. Well, I just got a phone call that my eldest brother is in the hospital now & not
with heart trouble. He had that tube put down his throat yesterday as he has been having the gall
bladder signs. Well, would you believe it - the actually knicked his bile duct while doing this!!! I
guess it has to be a bit serious, because they actually admitted him to the hospital and here in
Toronto, they will even to a masectomy & send you home afterwards!! It just seems to be that there
has been one problem after another in my family! Needless to say, the first thing I did was eat ;-(
as least I wasn't completely out of control this time, so not much damage. Sorry for the rant, but I
just had to get it off my chest. Thanks for listening. Elaine K

  2. Aw, Elaine. Enough is enough, don't you think? Hey, better that you rant here if it helps control
the stress eating even a little.

My heart goes to you and your brother. I hope he recovers quickly. Please let us know how he's
doing, and how you're managing as well.

  7. Please do feel free to vent, sometimes getting these concerns off your chest helps to get the
munching urges under control. <g> I'm sorry to hear about your brother, and also that you have one
more thing to deal with and worry about. I am hoping that this stretch of *bad luck* you have had
will come to an end with this latest setback. Best wishes to your brother for a speedy recovery.
