If you think that a bicycle needs more than one fork, you might want to rethink if putting one
together yourself is a good idea....

Here is a list fof components from a bike I built recently:

You definitely need tools, including bike-specific stuff like chain tools, bottom bracket tools,
cone wrenches, crank pullers, etc.. You will also need lubricants, maybe threadlock compound,
handlebar tape or grips, cables and cable housings, the little crimps that go on the ends of the
cables, and lots of other stuff that I forget at the moment. It's good to have a bikeshop nearby.

On that folding bike the rear derailleur is so low and exposed it seemed like a bad idea to just
drop the bike on the ground. :-)

Cheg's comment- It's good to have a local bike shop nearby- might be the best. Nothing worse than
having a bike stripped down and realizing that you need some small part to finish it off, but you
can't get to the bike shop because the bike is, well, stripped down....

Wheel strut is a more appropriate term. A major benefit of this design is that allows a more direct
power side chainline, since there is no fork leg that the chain would need to be routed over. See:

Tires Headset Brakes Brake levers and cables, if you aren't buying a gruppo that comes with brifters
and full kit in that area. Shifters ditto. Seatpost clamp Reflectors, if you use them Pedals BB, if
it's not in the gruppo Kickstand? (obviously not everyone uses this) Bottle cage(s)? If it's a dual
suspension bike, rear shock? (May not be supplied with the frame.)

Assumption: gruppo minimally includes both ders, crankset with sprockets, cassette and chain.

If the frame is virgin, the headtube may need to be faced; possibly the BB shell as well.

I don't know if a speedo would be so comfortable. I'd recommend regular padded bicycling shorts.

What make's you feel you can't get exactly what you want if someone else builds your bike? Not only can your local bike shop or a mailorder bike shop get anything you want they can probably suggest things you've never heard of.

Don't forget to chase the threads in the headtube and bb and face the housings if the frame supplier hasn't done that. Also, be sure to align the forks and rear triangle.
