IMO, there's no comparison between a bit of nudity on NYPD
Blue (on at 10 pm, BTW) and Stern allowing hate-filled
racist garbage to go out on the air. I would prefer that the
PUBLIC rebuke him by stopping listening, rather than CC or
the government doing it. (Although, if *I* owned a radio
station and one of my employees broadcast truly repulsive
material, I'd probably suspend or fire them, too.)

As far as the Super Bowl thing, what everyone seems to
ignore is the WAY JJ's breast was exposed. Besides being
totally inappropriate for the time and audience, what's
worse to me is the message that it's OK for a young man to
rip the clothes off of a woman if she's dressed
provocatively or something.

Many pro team cheerleader squads wear revealing/suggestive
outfits, but they don't have routines with players tearing
their tops off (at least not YET). That's what I found
offensive about the halftime show (hell, I flipped the
channel and didn't even see the damned thing!)...

I didn't say he was (a) racist. What I *heard* was the
reason he got bumped from some stations was that he and/or
his producers allowed inflamatory, racist comments to be
aired instead of bleeped via the delay switch. No idea if
it's true or not...
