This frame is almost new. I put approximately 75 miles on it
before deciding it is too big and have since kept it
unridden for sale. Never crashed, dropped, ridden wet or
even gotten dusty enough to hose down. Condition is as new
except: two thin applications of Wiegel framesaver and one
coat of wax prior to assembly; one partially detached seat
tube decal (new replacement is included in sale); and
presumably some contact points will be visible when
derailleurs, etc. are removed (and, presumably, will no
longer be visible when parts are re-installed).
Color is the original Rambouillet orange, which just went
out of production. Rivendell's new price is $1300 for frame,
fork and headset. I'll sell this one for $900 plus shipping.
Installed Phil Wood stainless bottom bracket, Honjo
hammertone fenders, Campy mixed Record/Chorus 3X10
drivetrain, and other parts (all with approximately 75
miles) are also available at my replacement cost, but only
with the frame.
