  1. My 6 months old baby has ear infection. Is it safe to give
her one drop of Lavender oil into the ear to help?

I sincerely hope that you have asked your pediatrician this
question. If not please do so. If your baby has a perforated
ear drum secondary to the ear infection I don't think that
it would be a good idea in any case.

This group is not for recommending or sanctioning treatments
but for the discussion of alternative medicine pro and con.

I hope you would not rely on the advice of some anonymous
internet poster for the safety and welfare of your child.

    Aloha,

    Rich

I hope that the doctor you ask has at least a working
knowledge of the medical use of herbs and oils. It is
dangerous and foolish to ask someone who has no knowledge
about alternatives for advice about them.
