  1. Hi,

I am off to Dorset (Chesil Beach) this weekend and will be
taking our mountain bikes with us.

I am a regular cyclist, but my wife and daughter (age
    7) are not.

    a) are there any good routes/rides that we should try? - I'm
guessing not more than 15/20 miles with town/pub en
route. I have a rack on the car so can travel around to a
suitable route. I am looking for routes that are off
road, but not technical e.g. old railway routes?

    b) is it worth getting the OS dorset cycle routes handbook?

    c) are there any other sites with this sort of information
on that is easy to use? I looked at sustrans, but it
didn't make much sense to me.

    TIA Allen
