  1. Crock-Pot Sweet and Sour Pork

    1-1/2 lbs. boneless lean Pork meat, 1" cube
    1 (20oz.) can unsweetened Pineapple, with juice 1 small
    Onion, cut in wedges
    2/2 cup Chicken Broth
    3/4 cup Cider Vinegar 3 Tbsp. dry Sherry 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce 1
    Tbsp. Brown Sugar
    4/2 tsp. ground Ginger 1 tsp. bottled Garlic 1 medium Bell
    Pepper, chopped-up
    5/2 cup Water
    6/4 cup Cornstarch

    Brown pork cubes in 1 Tbsp. oil, drain. Put in crock-pot.
    Add pineapple, onion, chicken broth, vinegar, sherry, soy
    sauce, brown sugar, ginger and garlic and peppers. Mix
    thoroughly, cover and cook on low 7 to 10 hours or on high 4
    to 5 hours. Before serving, turn crock-pot on high. Mix
    water and cornstarch until cornstarch is smooth paste. Add
    to crockpot stirring very well to blend. Cook 30 minutes
    stirring often. Serve over hot fluffy rice.
