Hey, Peter, lighten up. The "easier to purchase than lose
weight" line was a joke. And the pursuit of lighter
components and the attendant advantages is not a new thing -
did you ever drill anything or know anyone who did?
Many people treat bike ownership like the car afficianado -
we like to go fast on them and we like to putz with them. It
is a hobby, a method for maintaining fitness and sanity, a
healthy distraction from the stress of modern life. Just
look at the OT discussions that pop up here. It's invading
even our escapes.
So I'm gonna go back to trying to figure out whether my new
Alpha Q fork is going on the Schwinn Paramount ti or on the
Foco Sano.
