thanks for posting this, Fred! I found it rather
interesting and printed the article for my eldest girl to
read (she is a TJ'aholic). While neither one of us meet the
*typical* TJ shopper (she's too young, I'm not a college
graduate or white collar family - both of us have kids) ...
guess we still do fall into that *overlapping* shopper
category. Looking for good prices, interesting foods and
most definitely reading those labels! Which reminds me ...
I need to make a TJ trip soon, have a craving for the
shredded bbq chicken breast and youngest has requested
couscous w/ fruit salsa.

I can't imagine living in an area w/o a TJ's anymore. I
twitch when I visit the parents, no TJ's. We usually bring
stuff with us.

I semi fit the profile - good prices and exotic foods of
interest. I thought it was interesting since TJ's comes up
here so often.

I recall hearing about them for about a year or so from my
sister and dad - they had them in LA and Tucson. Got to
visit one in LA with my sister. Of course, at that time the
exotic desserts in the freezer attracted my eye. Finally,
they opened one here. But WW won't allow me those desserts
anymore (G)
