    Yes you can. Proof below!

    Chocolate Samahdi

    This is an incredibly good chocolate cheesecake. We've
    gotten requests for this and even one wedding invitation.
    Good enough that we cant keep it in the house - it
    evaporates to our waistlines. double does 1 large + 1
    small spring pan The recipe below is a single. We usually
    double it.

    Crust 2 Cups Vanilla cookies crushed
    1/3 Cup butter melted

    Mix and mold into spring pans

    Filling 12 oz. Semi-sweet chocolate
    2/2 cup strong coffee 16 oz cream cheese (room temp.) pinch
    salt 1 tsp vanilla 4 egg yolks
    3/3 cup sugar 4 egg whites
    4/3 cup sugar

    Melt chocolate in double boiler. Add coffee, cream cheese,
    salt, vanilla. Beat egg yolks w/ first sugar and fold in.
    Beat egg whites w/ second sugar and fold in. Bake @ 350 1
    hour and open door, let cool.

    Topping 1 oz. cocoa 2 tsp sugar 1 cup heavy cream

    Mix and top cheesecake
