I found a few interesting bikes in thrift stores this weekend. One was a Mixte frame bike labelled Huffy AeroWind and it has a very unusual frame. The down tube was flattened into an aerodynamic shape. The bike must have been fairly old because it was Made in the USA. It was a very nice unusual creamy color. I also found a Mixte frame 12-speed Vista Espada which looks like a very high quality bike (I bought it), a label on it says Champion N D-5 tubing Tange Industries. It says Made in Japan on the frame. A also saw a black very lightweigth racing bike labelled Greg LeMond, no other name visible. It had very thin tires, 3/4 inch I think and must have been owned by a serious cyclist since it has the elbow rest contraption thing on the front. It was marked $70 which is high for thrift stores around here, they are usually marked $15-$30. Any one know anything about these bikes??
