Can anyone tell if the hubs in wheels for "paired spokes"
such as Rolfs are drilled with the spoke holes on each
flange aligned with those on the other flange, or are they
offset by 1/2 hole spacin as on normal hubs? TIA

Most Rolf rear hubs are offset, but only by about 6 degrees.
That's just enough to let the left spokes line up about an
inch ahead of the right spokes (at the rim).Normal hubs are offset much more than this. For normal hubs,
Offset = 360 / N, where N is the number of spokes.The Rolf front hubs I've worked on (and Vector Pro rear
hubs) are not offset at all. -
