I swim laps for excersize and I usually decide when to quit
based on the number of laps I've swum. But that requires me
to keep track of it while I swim -- which is kind of a
bummer because I can't just relax and go. I have to
concentrate or I lose count.
So I need some kind of mechanism to keep track of it for me.
I'm thinking maybe some kind of device exists that you can
tap when you get to the end of the lane. I could put my own
braille labels on it.
PS: I have an electronic lap counter that I bought before I
went blind that I'd be willing to send to anyone who
solves this problem for me. Original price $35. I still
even have the instructions. Probably needs a new
battery by now. It's a little thing that straps on to
your finger.
