He said nothing about the Bible or being a Christian. He
said nothing dishonest either. He just stated his opinion.
He actually treated you pretty nice considering the way you
normally treat people. You need a constructive hobby that
does not include posting on internet news groups.
The Bible is not a work of fiction, however most of your
post sure seem to be.
By the way if all enviromental nuts act like you, I'm glad
I'm not one!

I am sad to have read your email. Here in Nevada, we enjoy
the freedoms
of
Quoted message said:the outdoors like few places around the world. We are free
to enjoy the trails and roads by foot, bike, horse,
motorcycle and off road vehicles in many spots around the
state. On the eastern slope of the sierra, many of our
towns and cities enjoy these excellent trails right
outside our city limits. The experience is exhilarating
and also allows riders to ride UP the hills for a good
work out, enjoy the excellent views from up high
(where
Quoted message said:hikers would take days to access) and descend the smooth
sinuating single track.I know, personally, the person who constructed Cow Trail.
The trail was done specifically for riding, with attention
to drainage, vegetation and fun. Many types of users now
use the trail and other trails that are
linked
Quoted message said:to it. He and others worked hard and long to ensure that
the trail would last and not affect the wildlife around.
Much of the land here in Nevada is dirt, and therefore is
easy to construct trails that do not damage vegetation.
And, I have never heard of anyone killing an animal due
to riding. It is sad that you think that what others choose to do
with their time and money is a waste of time. I think that
is pretty short sighted and closed minded to think that
your views on what is suitable to do on your spare
time
Quoted message said:is the only effective way to spend our leisurely time.
That type of intolerance is closing in on fascism and is
counter to American and
Nevadan
Quoted message said:values. It sounds like you are from the Republic of
California. Much of the increase in our population are
from Californians escaping the grips of the government and
high costs of the taxes there. Please keep your
agendas
Quoted message said:limited to your own area. Better yet, just forget about
them. What good
is
Quoted message said:it to have wilderness if people cannot responsibly access
it and enjoy?
It
Quoted message said:is like having a treasure buried in the ground for no one
to use. God
gave
Quoted message said:man dominion over the earth for our pleasure and
livelihood. It is our
duty
Quoted message said:to responsibly use its resources responsibly as a gift
from heaven.Mel. Native Nevadan Freedom Fighter
Hey all,
Just received an email about the Bull Ranch - Cow Canyon
Video. It seems a well know opponent to MT biking is using
the video to thrash Mountain Biking. I was wondering why
there was so many downloads, maybe I should
send
Quoted message said:him a thank you email? Below is the email. Just for your
information most
of
Quoted message said:the trails in the video are Motorcycle Trails, still a
great place to
ride.
Quoted message said:Now I need to go clean the road kill off my bike. If only
I can get off
the
Quoted message said:couch because of my aching back.

waste of time mountain biking is. The riders pass through
some beautiful country, but obviously too fast to SEE or
EXPERIENCE any of it! That's like treating dancing as if
it were just a means of getting from one side of a room to
the
Quoted message said:other. How sad!
You can also see the rutting that mountain biking causes
in the trail. And notice how the camera continually bumps
up and down. The rider is experiencing every one of those
bumps. It would be amazing, if that
rattling
Quoted message said:didn't damage their bodies. I tried it once, on a dirt
road. It was absolutely the most unpleasant time I have
ever spent in a park in my
life.
Quoted message said:Why anyone would want to do that to themselves (to say
nothing of doing it to the park, wildlife, and other trail
users) is beyond me.It is also clear that it is IMPOSSIBLE to be aware of all
the small
animals

fast, and has to
give

P.S. It's best to watch it over a high-speed Internet
