I have seen a lot of him over the last 6 years.. Career
nearly took off when he hit the posat in a cup tie against
Leicester which would have finally put the Radford goal in
the can for ever. Then he was knocked back a couple of
seasons with Glandular fever. An unlucky lad.. gets a
contract with a league club, only for them to get kicked out
and then the lurgy..

Hope all is well for him from now on..

Players may quallify by their place of birth or that of
their parents and grandparents. Alternatively they may
qualify by residence over a period of time.

This brings up the interesting situation I was faced with in
cricket of watching England vs South Africa and not a single
Englishman on the pitch. England batting and Smith (born in
South Africa)and Hick (born in Zimbabwe) at the crease.

Playing for a country other than that of your birth is quite
common in rugby too. Lots of New Zealanders play for other
countries and the NZ side often has Pacific Islanders in it.
