Never been to Manchester and it was my first time on a fixed and a track. You know you see all these silly polls about "is cycling better than sex", well I think I riding on a track has to be the best fun I have had on a bike in years. I've no comparison but it is regarded as one of the best in the world.

I'm only 20mins from Newport so the track will form an important part of my winter training for cyclo-cross.
