Actually, one of the PCs I've been running it on is a
Pentium I, 166 MHz. (!!!) It hasn't slown it down one
bit, because it only comes on when I'm not using the
computer. (Of course results are coming out as fast as
my AMD 2100, but every bit counts)

The project I mentionned is about developing long term,
viable drugs for treatment. They are currently finishing
phase II (identification of candidates to produce and
test in animals, etc.). It is supported by Intel,
Microsoft .NET, the University of Oxford and the
National Foundation for Cancer Research.

They are selling nothing. They will produce peer
reviewed science.

screen savers, or when the computer is otherwise idle.

And anyway, anything which took resources away from some
computers (like yours) would be a good thing, especially if
