Does anyone with knowledge of or interest in the Pyrenees,
know of a plan to construct a tunnel beneath the
Vignemale. If anyone has heard of this would they please
respond. As someone who has known the area for over twenty
years I feel passionately that such a scheme would be an
unnecessary and catastrophic intrusion into an area of
outstanding natural beauty.

Sorry, I don't see the connection between these two sites
and my questionThat's because there isn't any - those sites are part of his
standard .signature file. What he should have said is 'GIYF'
(Google is Your Friend).www.google.com 'Vignemale tunnel' and get 358 hits (most of
them not in English, of course, but there is always the
'translate' feature - good for a laugh if nothing else.)--

There isn't a connection! The two sites are in Johns sig.
See, there's another one at the bottom of this post! What he was saying is that if you google, for example, you
will find as much information as you want.In other words, do your homework; it's easy.
