These are all great advances that the entire world has benefited from.

America is so great because of the freedom we have. Well, had, it's slowly being choked away. Hello Nannystate.

Life is really good. I got the new car, paid off the house and with the wife's salary we're buying braces and private school for the kids. I go to work every day for eight or more hours. Commute and getting into the door, phone answered, mail collected, etc. takes about an hour each way. I have six hours each night and I can absorb more interesting Jewish media trash, or have an emotional crisis, or take any of the interesting drugs available. As long as I show up at work tomorrow. Life is really good.

Why is America so great? In what other country can so many diverse people live in such harmony. Though we will ALL have our differences from time-to-time, we have the FREEDOM to express those differences.

Tolerant…Yes, we are a tolerant nation. As a FREE nation, we continue to let the likes of Michael Moore spew his garbage of half truths. ( I equate Moore to Vince McMahon of the WWF who promotes sports entertainment. There is a winner and a loser but it is staged. Much like Moores movies (propaganda vehicles) where he presents factual information but distorts or leaves crucial pieces on the cutting room floor that would put these facts into context. He has practiced this strategy in all of his preceding “documentaries.” But, at the end of the day, I’m glad he has that freedom because as much as I loath Michael Moore, he provides much entertainment to me and just proves how much freedom we really possess.

If you listen to most of the whiners complaining about America, they wreak of jealousy… Deep down inside they are jealous of our freedoms, our lifestyle and our “toys”. Other detractors are obviously disgruntled Americans that have decided to leave their Country to go marry their own sex or for other reasons…

The “American dream” is real and that is what ticks most our detractors off. They have no dream and no hope of ever achieving such. So, you will find when one is most unhappy about their existence, they tend to attack others thus the existence of terrorists. Most are not of a violent nature so they attack with words. However those with violent tendencies use terror. Their goal is to attack the “dream” or lifestyle of others because they are not happy with their existence or circumstance.

Those who hate or dislike America. I wonder what they think would be the outcome if some other nation wielded the power that we posses? When we have conquered another nation, we have poured blood, sweat and tears as well MONEY into the defeated nation to help the citizens…We have befriended the very European nations that oppose us on almost every issue.

When some evil dictator is invading your country who are you going to call? France, Germany, Ireland , Canada???? NO, you will call the United States of America. Why? Because we are a kind and just country. We will defend your right for the freedom you deserve.

We are a melting pot of sorts and we make it work. Those who speak out against us, will not weaken our resolve. WE are Americans and as a people may not be better than anyone else....We just have better ideas.😄

Oh I forgot ,it is terrible here. Residence of the US are all miserable and tortured souls. By all means do not immigrate here. Stay where you are! Stay where you are!!!!!!!

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone - I was always told he was a Scot .
Henry Ford invented the production line but cars had been made all over the world in factories for years before that . ( his " any colour as long as it´s black " was due to using the new , quick drying , cellulose paint - only available in black . )
As the first computer seems to have been built in England as a code breaker during the war does that count as part of the internet ?

Notice my choice of words. I said first AIRPLANE not glider. The powered part was implied. I also said the automobile INDUSTRY (namely the assembly line which revolutionaized industry as we know it), not the first automobile. Bell was a Scotsman but what difference does that make? The telephone came out of America. Philo Farnsworth took "the parts" and created the first television. And no I don't consider a code breaking machine to be part of the Internet.

My knowledge of the Marshall Plan is as follows....I will give the ultra abbreviated version as that will serve to prove my point...The Marshall Plan was the genius of Geroge Marshall and was created while he was at Harvard in June of 1947. The U.S. had already pumped in 20 Billion to most of the European countries but it failed miserably because the Economic infastructure of Europe needed more than just money (Donation # 1 from Greedy Americans). George Marshall said that what Europe needs is not just money...but money and a plan...Thus the Marshall Plan. Most Americans were hesitant to give anymore of their money to Europeans so the plan was limited to a 4 year contribution. Americans basically saw it as an investment. Along comes blood transfusion #2 an another 13.3 Billion dollars...most of which went to, the 2 biggest current protestors...England(3.1B) and France(2.7B). Many economists say to multiply the 13.3 number by 20 to get that in today's dollars. America's contribution to WWII in both blood and money is staggering no matter how you look at it. As for WWI I do not think that anyone knows for sure how much America Gave to Post War European Re-construction but I am sure that it was quite a bit.

I watched one of Robin Williams Stand up Routines the other night and during one of his monologues he was talking about how the world targets and hates Americans, especially the French...(imagine RW using a French Accent)...You stupid Americans you think you are so great, you think you run the world, we hate you...(Americans Walking Away)...(Enter Germans)...Wait Americans, we love you....

It is true that Americans are envied around the world for what we have. We are the big kids on the block and thus the targets of everyone's Anger/hate. We have huge shoulders and can take it and never doubt that now or in the future, Americans will refuse to continue to shed blood and give food or money to any country that is oppressed or asks for it.
