My father-in-law lived in Scotland for a number of years and named my wife after the Heather on the hills. So that automatically makes Scotland great.

Birthplace of golf. I would love to play the old course at St. Andrews

Glenfiddich Whiskey

Ball breaker mountains (like Wales)

Borders rugby (hardy people up there)

Robert Millar (the best cyclist to come out of Britain EVER)

Edinburgh Castle and Princes St on the day of a rugby international (heaven).

I'll pass on the bagpipes !

I'll have to pass on the whiskey these days--I loved it way too much in past days, but I'll take those bagpipes any day!!! Enough to get my day started in a great way. Now I just wish someone was piping at the start of the Seattle-to-Portland ride in 2-1/2 weeks. I'd end up doing the 206 miles in 8 hours!!
