Bauer hopes to woo Lance

  1. As reported in the Globe & Mail (Toronto)

    Steve Bauer is planning to go to the TdF and meet with Lance to see if he can talk him into racing
    the Worlds in Hamilton. He, like others, believes the course suits LA and it would be great for
    North American cycling (blah, blah, blah).

    Of course, it would also be a boost to the overall attendance and for tourism - Bauer is the primary
    Tourist Package operator for the event.

    Move the Worlds back to late August and you won't have quite this problem. Look for George H. finish
    4th in Ontario with Slava getting the win.
