  1. Here's video of the second half of my OC riding. It was shot the same day
as the SJT video in Aliso-Woods Canyon. It's not as cool as the SJT and I
lost most of the DH after a drop-off turned off the video camera.
None-the-less, it sure is a purdy place near Mission Viejo, California.

Everlast. I'm anxiously awaiting the new CD in May.

Watching this video maes me smile. I already miss it. It was fun. Oh
well, east coast riding at Blue Marsh Lake (one of IMBA's epic rides) this
    Sunday.

  4. There are some single track gems in that park like 5 oaks trail.

That's about 10 mins. from my house.

It's long, but I don't know about epic. Most sections are great, some are 5
feet wide and destroyed by barneys, fishermen, and equestrians. The poor
sections are the ones close to the day use facilities and parking lots.
Pretty fast buff singletrack. Very few technical sections. It can be
deceptively hilly. If you look at the profile it doesn't look like much but
after 20 miles all the short steep hills get more challenging.

If you're planning on doing the whole loop (~30 miles) bring plenty of
water, escpecially if it's going to be warm. The only place to refill is at
a water fountain in the visitor's center, around mile 29. If you start at
Justa Rd. and ride clockwise you can hit that at about the 2/3 mark.

    Have fun.

    Chris

Hey thanks. I think we're doing the 23 mile loop but ya never know. I'll
be with the Jersey Action Riders and they always like to throw a big hill
in. So, I'm expecting we'll do the 6 mile ski run as well. If you're up
for it, we're meeting at the parking lot at 10 AM on Sunday. Just look for
    all the JAR jerseys.

Thanks, but I have a ton of homework and already have tentative plans for a
Mt Gretna ride, you know how it is, the trails close to home are always less
exciting than the ones on the other side of the fence. Have fun, post a RR
if you think of it. Always wonder what others think of local trails.

    Chris

  8. I used to ride that trail everyday. Until I moved to San Antonio, Tx. Thanks
for giving me a little peek into my home trail. I would have liked to seen
more of Rockit or Lynx, but I understand. That was wonderful.
