Beside the hopes being $70 more, is there a huge difference in
performance? Looks like the Maguras are standard equip on mid priced
bikes.

Hope - I have a hope Mini, had no problems at all with it, its performance
is excellent and flawless, the calliper is small and very robust (had big
rocks bounce of it and leave only scratches), the lever feels 'just right'
ergonomically, nice action, also tough.Magura - Never used one and don't know a thing about them.
