This bike was located in Grants Pass, Oregon, at Spin Cycle.
Due to rain and cold, I had a very brief ride on this bike today.
Overall I was very impressed. My only experience with a high racer style
was riding a Strada. The Force 5 learning curve seemed to be better.
This is a very easy bike to hop on and go for a ride for the first time.
Actually I found myself going into a few corners a little faster than I
normally would due to the confidence that the bike gave me. The welds
were excellent. In person, the frame appears even stronger than the
pictures that I have seen of this bike. The seat felt comfortable and
was easily adjustable. The seat clamp impressed me a lot. I have used
this style of clamp in my line of work and know if they are designed
correctly, they are very effective. The brakes seemed "average".
Again, this was a very brief ride. I plan on riding this more as I am
trying to decide between a Force 5 and a Corsa.
If you happen to be in the area, stop by and see Craig, one of the
owners of Spin Cycle. He is very enthusiastic about the recumbents that
he sells and has always been very helpful to me.
