You mean to say that you cut through three one meter thick trees with
an axe? I'm not surprised that your insides are warm and glowy.

In my neck of the woods it would have been much easier.
All you do is tell one of your "mates" that you've found a really good
load of fire wood. Within an hour your "mate" would have snuck out
with his chainsaw and pinched it. This can work to your benefit if you
need a track cleared.

no sorry, i put it badly, the trunks were about half a meter thick
each, but were suspended 1 meter high becsause of the foliage

heheheeh, na, i wanted it to be quiet, theres a lot of wildlife there
🙂) axe was noisy, nowhere near as noisy as a chainsaw though, which
was good 🙂

good stuff. Several years ago a old knackered fruit tree rolled onto the
Moonee Ponds bikepath in West Bruns. As it was dusk, and the front
halogen was flat, I almost got caught in the out stretched branches.
Moved tree, rolled it down the steep grassy bank. Simultaneously, a pair
of roady types hooned past. Didn't stop, didn't even blink, prob didn't
even realise they almost collected the tree & me. Just a belated "thanks
guys" if you're out there somewhere.😉
