As appalling as that could be, or is, - what I find offensive is Rugby
League hierarchy complicity in protection of their investment players by
removing them from the scene of an alleged pack rape of a young lady, before
local police could interview them, and later internal club discussions and
investigations into the matter and media release of the outcome clearing
their investments of any wrong doing.
Any managerial member found complicit in time, should face serious criminal
consequence, and likely would.
Smells like organised crime to me.
Anyhow, to your 13yo example - you can add similar examples to Japan and
Germany where large numbers of US forces are/were stationed. This does not
mean the US is filled with rapists, nor Australia by my statement.
