  1. I just picked up a Nokia tube and noticed that it says it is good for
    tyres of "25-32" & "609-642". Okay, I know 609mm is 27x1½, but what
    is 642mm?

    I don't know what either 609 or 642 are. 622mm is 700C and 630mm is 27".
    You can use the tube for either of those.

    Even Sheldon's "Tire Sizing" page,

    has no listing for either 609 or 642.

    700C are 622.
    27" are 630
    Roadsters are 642.
    609 is roughly the ancient USA size 26 x 1.375.

    The tube manufacturer is showing more optimism that I would.
