actually we had a guy finish in the front group, Steven Cate.

We also had two guys in the early move that went the first time up the wall.
One guy who has been sick couldn't hold on. Larry Perera stayed in the break
till they were caught by the field.

We were attacking because the cameras were rolling.

None of our guys were dropped in the first 10k, they may have been at the back,
but that is because they were positioning their teammates at the front for 3
miles before the wall. Ever ride 3 miles in the wind at 32mph+ and then have
to do the wall?

All but 1 guy made it 100 miles today, one got caught behind a crash, and the
others all made it to 100-147 miles.

We had 3 guys finish.

So to call us stupid is completely wrong, we were racing our bikes. We tried
to start a small early break but it didn't work, but we did put a guy in the
early split.

Every team has to start somewhere, remember Webcor last season, or Jittery Joes
two years ago?

Considering the source of the only badmouthing, and how far off he was, as
usual I'd think that you'd be glad he wasn't on your side.
He predicted Tim Johnson was done after the first few minutes too.

Thanks, that was a good thread and it did remind me of that day you
"got something" in your eye on the podium at nationals. Although
reminiscing about the good old days of RBR is way worse than the good
old days of racing.

Oh, I understood both of those points. I knew that Jason was a race
participant and that Run Chump did not witness anything he commented on
from the seat of bike, but rather sitting on his fat ass on the
sidelines. I was commenting how it was quite funny that someone that was
actually in the race, Jason, was here to point out to RC, and everyone
else for that matter, that RC was full of [censored].

I shouldn't reply but here it is.
Sharper Image accomplished it's goals and then some.
Mike House and Nick Keirnan did spend some time in front of the
cameras.
21 neo-pro House was in for almost 70 miles. That was his job.
Larry Perara was with the group off the front until it was swallowed
up by the peloton. Since his name was not mentioned on cyclingnews
live you wouldn't know that unless you were there. (Read his diary to
see what happened.)Mike Lange, also only 21 was with that group part
of the time. He was in total awe of riding with the likes of Bobby
Julich.
Matt, Jason, Aaron and Adam were in for most of the race grabbing
wheels for teammates.
Steve Cate with the first group. Dave Wenger finished with the 2nd
group. Mike Lange finished being pulled in the small laps at the end.
The only thing they did not accomplish was having someone in the top
20, but looking at the results, we need to go the the 4th rider to
crown a USPRO
It was a great day, too bad you didn't have fun.
