Does the guy realize what a grouchy old douchebag he's making himself look
    like?

No, he doesn't and the editors and publishers don't care if it makes him
look like a dork since guys like you help create a "buzz" when they cart out
that bitter baby each year at around this time.

Still, don't blame him. Blame those that are creating the incentives.

    Hey Chris
You don't have to take the money, or the spotlight. It's your choice.

Are we actually seeing anything that Greg's said *recently*, or just a
rehash of past stuff with the recent publication of the book (as well as the
    latest "journalism" from LeMonde)?

He appears to have been interviewed today:
    www.lemonde.fr/web/article/0,1-0@2-3248,36-372691,0.html

I'm not an expert in French, er, Freedom, but in the interview Lemond
*does* provide his rationale for a number of things that he states.

FWIW, he doesn't just take a swipe at Lance, he indicts cycling in
general, and the TdF officials in particular. He also doesn't ignore
    Michele Ferrari.

    cheers,
    john

I agree, but that is not the point I was making. I am talking about Turdy
complaining about something he is helping to drive.

I'm not helping to drive anything, asswipe.

And your point about 'blame those providing incentives' is [censored] stupid.
I guess you think that when your car gets stolen, its your fault for
    providing the incentive.
