It was obvious that when Basso had the stage win, Armstrong let him, and vice versa when Armstrong won.
To not confuse the fans, why not try this approach. Let the better man win! The results would have been the same, with a stage win for both. This letting the other guy win is [censored], and I wish they would stop it.

Perhaps you should write a letter to the UCI demanding action on this critically important issue.
