Hey,
When Jan went on the attack in stage 15 of the 2004 Tour de France, he was climbing at a rpm between 90-95.
Damn. I have explained this to all of you so many times. Jan does spin when he is on a good ride. Like most others, his cadence drops when he is on the defensive. The more fatigued he gets, the lower his leg speed.

He rode ahead of Le Train Bleu for over 30k. It was a good showing for a guy who lost minutes in just a few miles in the Pyrennes.
That 60 rpm stuff wasn't working, and although this ended up failing, it will lead to more performances like today in the future.
