Wabash Cannonball - what a great name for a rail trail! Can somebody fill
me in about this Toledo-area trail?
Is the entire 65 mile length REALLY available for usage as a bike trail? Or
is it considerably less than that, and could be a poor use of time to drive
2-3 hours by interstate to the trailhead?
Per their website - last updated in 2002 (?) some sections are impassable,
with some sections closed during times (??).

But the year 2000 edition of Ohio Magazine's "Great Ohio Road Trips" booklet
refers to it as if it were completed. This booklet is distributed at Ohio
Highway Dept. visitor centers along the interstate.
So is the Wabash Cannonball a 65 mile trail TODAY. Or someday?
