Grips

Spray on glue, most hobby shops have it.

Hairspray works really good for rubber grips (not foam though). Get the "Ultra-Mega Hold" kind. Sometime's they can still slip if they get really wet. You can also use spray-paint (spray it into the grips in both cases). You can also wire the grips on.

Some grips seem to slip a lot more than others too.

It amazes me how we spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on our bikes and the makers can't seem to get this one detail right. I mean come on, we send people to the moon and yet can't develop a no slip grip? Anyhow, thanks for the suggestions. Doesn't it make it real hard to get the grips on after applying glue or hairspray?

Actually the hairspray (or whatever adhesive you use) acts as a lubricant when it's wet and makes it easier to slide the grips on.

There actually are "no-slip" grips on the market now. ODI makes lock-on grips that use little clamps to hold the grips on. I have them on my MTB and they're pretty slick. Anytime to need to remove the grips for any reason you can just loosen the clamps and slide them right off.
