Forgive me if it's a basic question, but I've just recently got back into riding and decided my old Trek 930 needed to go. I bought a K2 evo 4.0 frame with the intentions of swapping everything over but the evo needs v-brakes so i need new levers, everything snowballed so now I'm building it FRESH.
My question, I got really worried when I saw the 9 speed hub may be too wide for some bikes? With the Evo having a carbon rear triangle, spreading is not an option. I'm going with all new Deore LX drivetrain, will it all fit?
This will be quite an upgrade from my old hardtail with STX equipment, only if it all works.
