I am looking for a Campy 8-speed rear indexded derailluer for my bike.
My last one just exploded and I need to ride! Thanks.

You *do* know that the indexing occurs at the shifter, right?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but any 9 or 10 speed Campy derailleur would work
just as well.
Okay, the pulleys on the 10 speed are a little narrower. Find a 9 speed. 🙂

Just for info, any Campagnolo rear der will work just fine with your 8s
shifters, even a 2004 Record 10s one, w/o any modifucation. We use 2004 rear
ders as replacement ders for any and all Campagnolo shifting systems, even 1991
downtube and 1992 Ergo. Works great.

Actually, the pulleys on the last 2 Veloce 9 rear derailleurs I got
had 9-10 on them.

Right. They're narrower than the pulleys on an older 9 speed. Campy
consolidated their pulley offerings...

Thinner or thicker pulleys are no big deal. No need to change or worry about
them. 8s pulleys with a 10s chain or 10s pulleys with a 8s chain...not an
issue.
