I'm going to be doing a triathlon in a few weeks, so I'm attaching aero bars to my normal road bike. How should the seat location be modified in the aero position as opposed to normal riding?

I believe most folk prefer the seat a little more forward. before I bought a tt bike, I had a thomson setback seatpost, turned to move me forward, with a seat fastened to it ready to swap out. add aerobars and I'm ready to go. having the additional post and seat meant never having to fiddle with my normal seat position and seat post. pop one out and pop the other in...

Depends, but most of the time 2-3 cms more forward. I go about 3-4 cm forward, I think. I have two seapost heads for my Cervelo post, so I can't be sure of the exact difference.
