Anyone use the 04 version of these wheels? I'm looking for a good set "training" wheels and don't want to go the Open pro route yet as I will probably switch from Shimano to Campy next spring.

However if I were to build a Open pro rim up I would want to build them up on Campy hubs.

I find that the Cosmos are a nice bombproof training wheel except for theur weight. They are a heavy wheel. I would spend a little extra money for the Ksyrium Equipe which is basically a Cosmos with a Ksyrium rim, a bit lighter, especialy around the rim and at least as strong.

Granted the weight difference is minimal, but so is the price.
Colorado cylist has the price difference between Cosmos and Equipes at 25.00.
Cosmos go for 324.90 and Equipes for 349.90. Is it worth the money? I would say, yes.

Equipe 04-f-930g r 1110 price-348.You still say even though the Equipe are 15g heavier and $50 more you would go with those? Just wondering. I race on the Ksyrium SSC SL and love those hubs. What makes the Equipes a better choice again in your opinion over the 04 Cosmos?

Those weights on Colorado cyclist cant be right. That would make them like over 4 pounds.
