If the ratio of spokes broken per month remains the same you would be looking at over three times the number of broken spokes. 😄

I'm guessing the ratio is going to go up. For 288 spokes, two hubs, and two rims plus labor to come in at $99, they have to be made out of some real garbage parts. -

well seeing i paid $160.00 for one 27 x 1 1/4" 36 spoke sun rim & quando hub i would have to agree with you.

Labor alone for a standard set of wheels from a decent builder is about $40, and that's for 1/4 the number of spokes. -

i just had 1 spoke replaced on my wheel. it's a 36 spoke rim . then they tensioned all spokes with a tension meter, & that's exactly what i paid...

You can have these installed at custom urban bike shops along with subwoofers and hydraulics. It's totally ghetto dog.
