prices and may have to settle for less. Is the 2006 OCR1 worth it over a
2005 OCR1 (assuming I can find a 2005 model for a good price)?
Also the Trek 1400 seems similar in specs to the Giant OCR1, how do these
compare?
I have a 2002 Trek 1400, it's been great, and has done a lot of km's.
I
got mine from Cycle Science in Mitcham, quite close to you in
Doncaster. I keep going back there, which is my vote for them as
a shop with a good rep.
Testride them both - preferably at high speed.
Also, do not be fooled into buying a bike for the groupset - buy the
best frame you can afford. Over time, you will replace the groupset
components as they wear out, but you're unlikely to replace the frame
unless you Dutchy it!
This should be in a FAQ ...
