Zabriskie obviously has a big aero engine. In the off season tf he could starve himself enough to lose 6 kg of upper body weight he could be a GC contender. Wouldn't that just [censored] the Armstrong haters.

I think Lance eased up in the last km so as not to have to defend the jersey.
Excruciating lack ot time splits and coverage of other riders during the whole thing on OLN. No time splits on screen at each checkpoint or other stuff you expect. Paul and Phil were having to get it off of race radi live feed. The French?!?!?!

Did you see the Zabriskie interview after the win. He obviously has not been in front of a camera very much. I thought it was kind of funny. You can tell he just got his cherry popped. 🙂

Well I thought that that interview sucked. Come on you can say a little more.......then ''yes'', ''no'', ''good ride'' etc. Nonetheless amazing ride by him!

Biggest story of today, other than LA passing JU (which is a very big story) and Zabriskie, is Vino and Karpets. Voigt also rode wonderfully. But Vino is really making Godefroot eat his words to the press.

Yeah that would be funny... but FWIW according to the Velonews blow by blow Zabriskie had a tailwind, LA (and Ullrich) did not. Besides a loss of 6KG, if even possible, still wouldn't turn him into the next LA.

Did anyone see the ride by Zabriskie? When OLN picked up the live coverage, he had finished quite a long time ago. They only showed replays of him coming to the line.

Being American has nothing to do with it. I've nothing against Americans, just arrogant bullies of which Armstrong is a prime example. Zabriskie comes across as a decent bloke.
