Heard about his suicide this morning. Had tax trouble, apparently had not claimed some broadcasting income. Was recently sentenced to 11 months in jail. He was found in his Wisconsin home on Sunday. Say what you will, he did his best to bring cycling to fans with enthusiasm in his days as a broadcaster for espn.
