Sounds like you've been very good about taking care of it. Given that it looks to be in good shape and hasn't stretched, I'd just keep riding...

Keep using it. Wear rate varies and there's no reason to change unless it's out of spec.

But.... If was about to purchase a new cassette, I would replace the chain too, and use the old chain on my winter bike.

If it has stretched you should replace it. A link measures exactly half an inch. 12 inches should give you 24 links. If the centerpin to centerpin measurement shows that it has stretched at least 1/8" you better replace coz aside from misfiring shifts you'll risk ruining your drivetrain.

I had a chain which wasn't stretched but had some side to side play and was a little noisy
only when I changed it did I realize why it was a little noisy
