And finally, what is this crud, showing the race mileage in miles on the TV screen while the race is going on? I know that it also shows up as kilometers, at other times, but talk about dumbing it down for people who don't know, or can't figure out the metric system! I noticed that Phil is also doing the conversion while talikng about the race.

Not many Americans care about the metric system. If you are selling a tv show to them converting to the english system is common sense.

Actually I don't mind having Trautwig and Posey there. I just figure that since they're under contract and being paid the networks feel that they ought to get SOME sort of work out of them.
Bob Roll, Paul Sherwin and Franky Andreu are really all the help that Phil needs. Oh, and that young guy with the british accent as well.

Posey's stuff is 85% [censored]. Trautwig is good for the masses, so keep him. He has excellent pronunciation of the French names like "Mengin." Gumm is eye candy mostly but she's enthusiastic. Sherwen and Liggett are the masters but I am shocked they have so few minutes now on OLN. Andreu needs to learn how to ask tougher follow-ups, and/or get Hincapie to say something.
