Cheers for that - will check them out. Agree with you about the last lot of stuff - bought 3 jerseys
& 3 pairs of shorts in the last offer. Very good, and an absolute steal at UKP6 each.

NB: my local Aldi in Norwich gave me a very funny look (bordering on deep suspicion) when I tried to
pay by Visa or Solo card. Dunno if it's local policy or across all branches, but take some cash
along with you.

Obviously get along quick as it sells out within a day or two.

Its company policy. They dont accept credit cards, and the staff seem to expect you to know this.
They do take switch though. Its a shame that

A few discreet signs about accepted payment methods wouldn't go amiss. But good value stuff, so no
grudges held. Just felt a bit of a [censored] at the time.

When they first opened it was cash only, even for £1200 pcs!

Could also reflect the charges credit card companies do. Have you ever wondered why they can afford
to give you cash rewards? It's not interest, it's the several percent they charge the merchant. (big
supermarkets may get charged less).

Debit card is a fixed smallish price.
