What is the cause of my cycling clothes smelliing like amonia in the laundry basket?
I notice it sometimes, but not always.
Is it based on the makeup of my perspiration, in which case is it based on the sports drink I use? I use various sports drinks & energy drinks & gels - whatever is laying around or supplied by the race organizers.

to avoid the ammonia smell, do what I do...as soon as I remove my gear after a ride, I throw it in the washing machine. Add some washing powder, then press the magic button.....
I have to wash it right away because I sweat like a wrestler.....
