In the Frequently Asked Questions for the Raptor bike mount, Yakima has this entry:
Q: I NEED TO CARRY SEVERAL BIKES. CAN I PLACE BIKES ON THE CAR BACKWARDS TO GET MORE SPACE?
A: Yes, just remember to turn the bike around before riding it.
(Captialization theirs; somehow, it seems all the more appropriate that way.)

Yes, just remember to turn the bike around before riding it. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Yeah, but doesn't that depend on where you are going?

Back in the '80s, one of the cycling mags ran a photo of a guy who was touring backwards...sitting on the bars, riding facing away from where he was going, using mirrors. Maybe Yakima saw it. -- Typoes are a feature, not a bug. Some gardening required to reply via email. Words processed in a facility that contains nuts.
