Right now it looks like the Giro (barring any surprises on Saturday) is
going to come down to tomorrows mountain stage and the final individual time
trial.
The final TT looks a whole lot like the last one with a pretty good climb of
about 600 feet in the middle of it (for those who live in the east San
Francisco bay area that's about the height of Skyline at Redwood Rd.).
Paolo pretty much matched Ivan in the first TT so that's a toss-up.
That makes tomorrow's mountain stage important. Paolo HAS to retain his
proximity to CSC's Basso to stand a chance of winning the Giro.
What's going to happen? With Tom Danielson out Discovery is out their best
climber for support of Savoldelli.
Tune in tomorrow and let's see WHAT THE HELL HAPPENS!
